Side Kicks ➡️ were on the menu this week!

Side kicks are a great addition to someone’s kickboxing toolkit 🛠️, and you can throw them in a variety of ways!

We focused on correct chambering 🦵, extension, and finally adding some movement with a spin or a step-in!

We continued working on our Arm Drags 💪🏻 in our Tiny Titans class today! 🥋

Arm drags are super high percentage techniques, and this class we added the chest to back connection ⛓️ after we spun our buddies around! 😵‍💫

Super proud of how everyone did! 🤩 A lot of adults can’t quite get the hang of arm drags, 🤕 so to see these little ones hitting them with precision really makes me excited! 😁

🥋 LITTLE WARRIORS JIU JITSU | AGES 6–8 🥋

Our Little Warriors at Somerset Martial Arts were putting in some serious work today on guard passing and pins! 🤼🔥

We’re teaching our young students how to get past an opponent’s guard, establish dominant position, and use proper technique and body control to maintain a strong pin.

These fundamental Jiu Jitsu skills help our Little Warriors develop:

Preseason training starts today!

We may be hosting the high school wrestling 🤼 team for Somerset Christian ✝️ school, but preseason training will still be open and free to all Pulaski County middle and high school wrestlers.

Only two practices a week for preseason training, once season starts it will drastically increase as all of our wrestlers move back to their respective home teams.
