Dear Valhallan Somerset Families,
We are writing this message with a heavy but grateful heart. After much thought and careful consideration, weโve made the difficult decision that we will be closing our Somerset location. Our final week of operations will be this week, with our last official day being Saturday 1/24/2026
This was not an easy choice. What started as a vision became something far more meaningful because of your kids, your families, and the community we built together. Watching our students grow โ not just as gamers, but as teammates, leaders, and confident young people โ has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
Valhallan Somerset was never just about video games.
It was about belonging, growth, and creating a safe place where kids could be themselves while learning valuable life skills. We are deeply grateful for the trust you placed in us and for the community we were able to build together.
To properly say thank you and to celebrate everything weโve shared, we would love to invite all current and past members and families to a Farewell Party:
๐ Saturday, January 24th, 4:00 - 9:00PM
๐ Valhallan Esports Training, 120 Cedar Grove
Lane, Somerset NJ
This will be a relaxed, open-house style event with free play, snacks, photos, and time to reconnect and celebrate the memories that made this place special. You may stop by any time between then and do not have to stay the full event.
Regarding any remaining sessions, memberships, or account-specific questions, we will be reaching out individually to ensure everything is handled clearly, respectfully, and fairly.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of Valhallan Somerset. This community has meant more to us than we can fully express, and we truly hope to see many of you before we close our doors. Thank you ๐
