End of season dinner with plenty to celebrate. League champs, a tournament championship, 4th in the section, 4th in the county, back-to-back NYSPHSAA Team Scholar-Athlete honors, individual milestones, and clutch underdog moments.

Led by an all-time senior class, this group proved that dedication and consistency pay off. Grateful for the memories, excited for what’s next. Keep moving forward.

Today, we recognized three Tusker wrestlers for their commitment to continue their athletic careers at the next level: two are heading to college wrestling programs, Cal Ehrmann to Oswego and Ryan Ball to Castleton, as well as Ethan Steuber, who is committing to track and field at Fordham. Congratulations!

Congratulations to our wrestlers on a great weekend at the 2026 NYSPHSAA Wrestling State Championships.

Somers finished 49th out of 139 schools represented across New York State.

Ryan Ball went 4–3 and placed 6th, earning All-State honors for the second straight year (2025 & 2026). He became the 3rd multiple-time All-State wrestler in Somers history and also reached a major milestone with his 200th career win, becoming just the second wrestler in program history to reach that mark.

Ethan Steuber finished 1–2, placing top 12 in the state, and became the 5th multiple-time state qualifier in Somers history (2024 & 2026).

T.J. Mauro also had a strong tournament, finishing 2–2 and placing top 12 in the state.

Proud of these three for representing Somers on the state stage. All three competed as seniors, finishing their careers on the state stage and leaving everything they had on the mat. They should walk away proud, knowing they gave the sport and the program everything they had.
