Summer Trails Baseball Camp

Today we worked on getting in the proper position for fly balls. We talked about the importance of first step back, and getting behind the ball, so that our momentum is coming forward. We finished our day off with a fly ball competition!

Today we had our first World Series! Two teams were crowned today and awarded their official World Series rings. Two lucky players were also awarded with the World Series MVP award.

Our playoffs have begun. We have found our two teams going into the World Series that will have home field advantage. Best of luck to all of our players tomorrow!

Today we were lucky enough to have another former player from the Mets organization, Kevin Baez. Kevin played shortstop for the NY Mets in 1990, 1992, 1993.
