Happy father’s day to all you dads!! Summer is here!! Sorry about the late post out with my family and dad.  Morning bite got one keep thought it would turn on tried then fizzled.  Afternoon was awsome ended up with a bunch of bent rods plenty of shorts and keeps.

Is what it is… tough day after the prior winds yesterday.  Shorts, sharks and skates.  Had a high of 70 and a low of 58 degrees water temp today.  Should stabilize tomorrow, we are fishing in the morning, walk ups only reservations are full. Only 10 spots available, first come first serve, doesn’t matter how early you call, see you at the shack. Afternoon is a private charter thanks

Today we were as excited for this trip as they were, Berlin Fire Company joined us for their annual outing. Allen 3.34lbs 21.25” what an angler… hosed down the rest of the competition.  Bragging rights for a year thanks Berlin fire 🔥 Fred, goose egg going to be a long year at the house.  Hal first keeper 2.81 lbs 20”  both got some coin side bet.  No trips tomorrow Thursday 6/18 winds goin to blow… again!

Always love having this group in the boat!

This morning, members of Berlin Fire Company No. 1 traded turnout gear for fishing rods as we continued a favorite annual tradition aboard the Duke O' Fluke in Somers Point, New Jersey

The trip provides an opportunity for our members to step away from the demands of the fire service and spend quality time together enjoying a day of fishing, fellowship, and friendly competition. From the first cast to the ride back to the dock, the day was filled with laughter, great conversations, and memories that will last long after the boat returned to shore.

A special thank you goes out to the Pine Hill Fire Department for covering Berlin Borough, NJ while our members were away. We greatly appreciate your willingness to assist and your continued partnership.
