One of the greatest joys of running Swim Baby Swim Cleveland is watching our swimmers grow—not just in the water, but in life.

As I look at this year’s graduates and students moving on to new grades, my heart is so full. I am incredibly grateful to still be connected with so many of our Swim Baby Swim families and to see these amazing children thriving in school, reaching milestones, and becoming confident young leaders.

It feels like just yesterday they were taking their first kicks, blowing bubbles, and learning to trust themselves in the water. Now they’re graduating high school, heading to new schools, and accomplishing incredible things in the classroom and beyond.

To all of our graduates and students moving up to the next grade level—congratulations! We are so proud of each and every one of you. Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your journey. Watching you grow up has been an honor.

Keep dreaming big, working hard, and believing in yourselves. Your Swim Baby Swim family is cheering you on every step of the way! 💙

Do you need a jumpstart before summer? We are here and we have multiple days available for swim lessons. We have small group classes and even private lessons for families. Just Pick you day and time and start in May or even tomorrow! Located in Warrensville Heights, Ohio and the Fannie Dean Recreation Center at the High School.

Incident date: Saturday, November 8, 2025, 1:20 pm. #2025-002034

The Solon Police Department expresses our sincere condolences to the family of a three-year-old boy who has passed away. The hearts of our officers are with you.

Officers responded to a Capilano Drive home after receiving a report of a missing child. The boy’s father, m, 46, Solon, called to report that his son, 3, Solon, was missing from their residence. Officers arrived and began a search inside and around the house. The boy was found shortly after officers’ arrival in a pond behind the home. He was unresponsive. Officers began life saving measures immediately. Solon Fire Medics arrived, provided medical assistance, and transported the boy to an area hospital. He passed away after life saving attempts were not successful.

The child’s parents were not home at the time, but arrived a short time after the officers. Other adult family members were watching the boy and another child, a baby, prior to the incident. There is no evidence to suggest this is anything but a terrible accident.

This statement is being provided due to the strong police and fire response Saturday afternoon, and the potential for questions. There is no threat to the community. We ask for as much privacy as possible for the family while they deal with this tragedy. This remains an open case, which will be reviewed by our Detective Bureau. Capilano Drive, located in the Signature I development, is a private and gated residential community.
