Solon Adaptive and Inclusive Rec (AIR) is dedicated to providing exciting recreation and leisure programs tailored for individuals with disabilities, as well as welcoming all others who wish to participate! On the next screen, you can Create an Account/Login. Click on Browse Programs, then REC-Blue Ribbon to view/register for a program(s). In Person: At the Solon Community Center, 35000 Portz Parkway, Solon, 44139, 6am-7pm weekdays/8am-5:00pm weekends.

Looking for a fun and inclusive sports program this fall?

Look no further... Empower Sports is partnering with us at the Solon Community Center to offer kickball this fall and starts on Sept. 14!

There’s still time to register for kickball, but it's closing soon. Whether you're new to kickball or already love the game, this program will help build confidence, make new friends, and have a great time on the field.

📅 Dates: Mondays, September 14 – October 12
🕕 Time: 5:30–6:45 PM
📍 Location: Solon Community Park - Fields 8 and 9

We are just about a month away from this amazing fall outdoor program... the adventure is waiting!

Join us on Friday, October 9 from 5:30–7:00 PM as we partner with the Cleveland Metroparks Outdoor Specialists for an evening of hiking, nature, and campfire fun at South Chagrin Reservation.

Together we'll explore the scenic trails, discover the beauty of the outdoors, and then gather around a cozy bonfire to make delicious s'mores with friends. 🔥🍫

Whether you're an experienced hiker or just looking for a fun evening outside, this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy nature, make new memories, and spend time with friends.

Join us for a hands-on mini pizza cooking class where participants will create their very own personal pizzas alongside Chef Harriette. No judgment here—every topping choice is welcome when you’re the chef!

What an incredible eight months of Adaptive Sports!

Through our AIR program, we’ve been proud to partner with Empower Sports to bring more adaptive sports opportunities to the Solon Recreation Center .

From basketball and pickleball to flag football and softball, our athletes have been getting in the game, trying new skills, building confidence, making friendships, and most importantly—having FUN!

These opportunities wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities (CCBDD) and their Recreation Services Grant.

A huge THANK YOU to Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities and Empower Sports for helping us continue to grow adaptive sports and create opportunities for our athletes to play, connect, and belong right here in Solon.

And we’re not done yet… there’s plenty more fun to come this fall!

What. A. Summer!

Our campers had a BLAST being part of our first-ever AIR Explorer Inclusion Camp! From exploring new places and trying new adventures to building friendships and sharing plenty of laughs along the way, this summer was filled with moments we won’t soon forget.

New friends were made. New experiences were shared. And SO many memories were created!

We are incredibly proud of our campers and everything they accomplished this summer.

Here’s a look back at all the fun, friendships, and adventures that made AIR Explorer Camp 2026 one to remember!
