We know everyone is eager to start the spring sports season and wanted to provide an update on where things stand;

BASEBALL:
This week kicks off our first official week of baseball practices for 8u, 10u and 12u.
If you haven't been added to the corresponding Band App, please reach out to Cobra Rec by email at [email protected]

SOFTBALL:
Softball Season is still being finalized and coaches will be in touch in the near future. Now is a great time to work with your daughter on throwing and catching.

T-BALL:
T-Ball will be starting towards the first of May. We will begin working on adding everyone to the corresponding Band apps in the next few weeks or so. Please be on the lookout for your Band App invite if you aren't already a part of the T-ball app.

Our baseball and softball fields are open and available for community use—we love seeing families and kids out there playing, practicing, and enjoying the space!

That said, please remember:
👉 Use is at your own risk
👉 AFTER EVERY USE, the entire field MUST be raked! There is a large rake at the fields.

This is not optional—it is absolutely essential to keeping our fields in good condition and open to the public during the season. If the fields are not maintained properly, we risk losing the ability to keep them accessible for everyone.

Thank you for helping us take care of this shared space and keeping Solon Rec strong for all of our kids and families

Cobra Rec Basketball Teams are excited for some Varsity Basketball action tonight at CHS!
Middle School teams are playing in the afternoon at CHS as well. Should be a wonderful evening of 🏀

Tonight our 3rd-4th and 5th-6th grade Cobra Rec Girls Basketball teams attended a clinic hosted by our very own Girls Varsity team. Thank you Coach Cote & team for taking the time to work with us! We had a blast!

We appreciate your patience as we secured gym availability and volunteers to host our skills and drills clinics for preschool-2nd grade. -Preschool boys: Wednesdays @4:15-5:00 at Solon Elementary
-kindergarten boys: Saturdays @8:30-9:30 at Solon Elementary
-preschool & K girls: Tuesdays at Embden Community Center 4:30-5:30
-1st& 2nd grade girls: Thursdays at Embden Community Center 4:00-5:00
-1st&2nd grade boys: Tuesdays at Solon Elementary 6:00-6:45
