Mr. Buck sure loves his ducks! 🦆 this picture was from last year on Bucks first hunt of the year. He sure has improved a lot from last season to this season!

Migration Report for the area:

Honkers are starting to show up more and more a couple of feeds have been spotted.

The mallards have had a good push the last week or so. A few hundred were spotted last evening heading back to their roost!

Raegan Pettijohn punched her tag this evening!

A nice 8pt flew by the stand tending a hot doe…happened so fast Raegan could not get set up to shoot. Moments later the same doe and 8pt came flying by the stand..followed by this stud! After trying everything to get this buck to stop a good yell froze him in his tracks. Raegan made a perfect shot at 8yds! Her buck ran 40-50yds and piled up. Congratulations on your first Kansas buck!!

The 2025 season was one to remember! Dalton Littleton punched his tag on a 188” Kansas giant!

The 2026 season is right around the corner! There are a handful of available slots open to book a Whitetail hunt in beautiful Central Kansas. Kansas offers some incredible waterfowl hunting as well. With good moisture so far in the year the waterfowl season is looking very promising!
