**the fee will only be if you are wanting a specific spot and want it reserved ahead of time, not for first come, first serve, like normal. If you just show up and camp, it's still free. Reserved parking/ camping would need to be paid the weekend before the shoot so we have time to mark it for you. Just wanted to clarify that! **

Good evening!!

I am slowly getting recouped from the shoot, a dog show and prepping for rodeo weekend! So I am sorry I've been so delayed in getting membership cards and such out to people.

The KPA board though, would like to address something and let everyone know about a new implementation that we doing.

We have never had "assigned" camping spots. We have always done
"first come, first serve".

Unfortunately, there was an incident this year that was brought to our attention, and so we are going to address this.

From here forward, if there is a camping or parking spot, that someone wants to reserve, you will need to contact KPA and send in a $100 reserved parking fee with the location that you are requesting. This is per camper / spot, if you want a specific space for 2 campers, and you want to ensure both spots are open, that's $200, 3 campers? $300, and so forth.

If you do not do this, and someone parks it what you feel is "your spot"... Tough. If they are they first, you snooze and loose.

We will be marking out lines/ spaces better to have it more organized, and if you reserve a spot, it will be marked out with paint and flagging and marked reserved.

It's unfortunate, that we had to do this, but we also feel, this is fair and will prevent further issues arising.

The shoot has come and gone but the memories made, will last a lifetime.

This year's shoot, as everyone knows, was done in memory of our very loved Dean Moloney.

A huge thank you, to Clyde for making our plaques.

Thank you to Richard and Michelle for taking pictures.

Charlie Weinstein and Fischer Eby took Dean on his walk around the range over the weekend, and kept him apart of the shoot. Thank you for doing precious task.

We were honored to be able to host this and have some of his family join us Saturday Melissa Moloney Martin, Wendy Croly and family. Thank you, for coming out, helping cook for everyone and allowing us to spend time with you.

Saturday evening, we took some time to honor him and put some of him in places around the range so we could visit him, whenever we need, and so he will always be there with us. There were laughs and tears and we all know, he woukd have probably been annoyed with us making such a big deal.

Then Sunday, we got a special visit from senator Jesse Bjorkman with a beautiful Memoriam for Dean. (yes we will have one with the correct spelling soon but it was perfect that ihis last name is wrong as it's soemthing he dealt with, his entire life.)

Dean was a humble man, an amazing dad and grandpa and one of a kind friend.

We miss you Deano, beyond measure, and no matter where we all go, what all happens, we know you have our back.

We love you
