🥎BIG NEWS FOR SOLDOTNA SOFTBALL!🥎

Soldotna Little League is incredibly excited to welcome Coach Elle Gray-Smith of Pitching Solutions Softball to Soldotna for a weekend focused on developing stronger pitchers, more confident athletes, and better-equipped coaches!

Coach Elle is a dedicated, knowledgeable, passionate, and highly skilled pitching coach who brings an incredible ability to break down the mechanics of pitching in a way athletes can understand and apply. Her commitment to helping young pitchers grow in confidence, consistency, strength, and technique makes this an amazing opportunity for our local softball community.

Coach Adrienne Herald, Vice President of Soldotna Little League, has been working with Coach Elle to bring more advanced pitching instruction and resources to Soldotna. We are thrilled to offer our players and coaches access to this level of specialized instruction right here at home.

This weekend of September 18th through the 20th will include:

🥎 Softball Pitching Intensives for athletes ages 8–18
📍 Soldotna Field House
💲 $50 per player

📋 Pitching Coaches Workshop
Designed for softball coaches who want to learn practical skills, drills, mechanics, and teaching techniques they can take back to their own teams and pitchers. Help Shape the Future of Soldotna Little League!

Soldotna Little League is looking for community members who are interested in running for our **Board of Directors**. Serving on the board is a meaningful way to support local players, families, coaches, volunteers, and the continued growth of baseball and softball in our community.

Board members serve **two-year terms**, and officer positions are selected annually. Board meetings are held on the **first and third Tuesday of every month**.

Important Election Dates
If you are interested in running please have you name to us by August 31st!

**September 1:** Voting information will be sent by email. The email will include the names of all candidates who are running for the board, including current members seeking reelection.

**September 28:** All board election votes must be submitted by this date.

**September 29:** Votes will be counted.

**October 13:** Board officer positions will be voted on.

Please watch your email beginning September 1 and take the time to vote. Member participation helps ensure that Soldotna Little League continues to be guided by people who care deeply about our players, families, and community.

What an amazing groups of ladies teaching the up and coming!

THE WAIT IS OVER… 🥎💜

It’s finally time to introduce the MEGA CAMP 2026 Coaching Staff!!

This group is absolutely STACKED.

13 current and former Division I softball players. National Champions. All-Americans. Players who have competed on the biggest stages in college softball and are now spending their weekend right here in Alaska pouring into the next generation.

They’re incredible softball players, but even better people. Every single one of them brings something different to the table, and I know our campers are going to walk away with new skills, new confidence, and memories they’ll be talking about long after camp ends.

Also join us in celebrating an incredible group of athletes who made Soldotna Little League proud by winning the District Championship, capturing the Alaska State Championship, and representing Alaska with class, sportsmanship, and determination at the Regional Tournament. 👏 Congratulations, Major Girls All-Stars! We are so proud of everything you've accomplished. Thank you for representing Soldotna Little League and Alaska so well! We're excited to have you lead us on Saturday!

**Soldotna Little League Fall Ball Update**

Soldotna Little League will not be offering Fall Ball for the 2026 fall season.

Long-awaited construction will be taking place at our facility to install new water lines. Because heavy equipment and active construction will be present throughout the complex, we cannot safely hold a traditional Fall Ball season this year.

We know this will be disappointing for some players, families, and coaches. However, this work is vital to the continued growth and improvement of our complex and organization.

We are currently working with coaches to offer a baseball and softball camp in August on fields 7 and 8. Beginning in September, we also plan to hold weekly clinics at the Soldotna Field House so players can continue developing their skills during the entirety of the off season.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support as we make these important improvements to our facility. More information about the August camp and weekly clinics will be shared as details are finalized.
