I have retired from strength sports permanently.
-
I have been operating a world class strength sports performance center for 8 years and running the best powerlifting meets in Alaska. I have coached between 20-80 athletes full time for the past 8 years ranging from 6-75 years old from all walks of life, law enforcement, military, first responders, powerlifting, highlands games, strongman athletes, combat veterans, moms, dads, kids & special needs. AoC Athletes have posted over 400 records, state, national and world. This has been the most meaningful and rewarding time of my life. During this time in my commitment to help others I unintentionally took a backseat to competing and to some extent lost some of the fire that started this whole adventure. This year I shed 90% of my coaching responsibilities and decided to make a run at my dream competing at a national level in multiply powerlifting in the APO. I tested things out for a month or so and then started meet prep for an April meet. On day one of meet prep, while warming up my bench press I had a violent audible snap, lost control of my right shoulder followed by 3 more audible snaps ending up with weight on my chest and my arm dislocated behind me. I broke every single component of the internal shoulder. Snapped both tendons, 3 of the 4 muscles, tore both ligaments, tore labrum and AC joint is bone on bone. My entire shoulder had to be rebuilt and I doubt it will ever be the same. I don’t think my true level of disappointment and sadness has set in yet.
-
After recovery I will focus and being healthy, jacked and tan and will never lay on a bench press for the rest of my life.
-
I am going to throw all my time and money into my other true love, building and riding custom motorcycles in Texas.
-
Anvil of Crom will continue to operate professionally per usual with team programming.
-
I am so thankful for every single person who has influenced, educated and mentored me and even more thankful for those who I had the pleasure of coaching.

I love Y’all, Thank you!
