AWNING 101:
~ Always make sure your awning is tipped to one side when you have it pulled out. This will allow rainwater to easily slide off your awning. Make sure you are not allowing water to accumulate so your awning fabric doesn't stretch out or rip. It will not "shrink" back into original shape, will end up loose on the roller and can cause damage to your awning system from the material and the excess weight.
~ Pay attention to the wind. If the wind is expected to reach a minimum of 7 - 10 mph, bring your awning in. If you don't, the wind can easily cause costly damage, requiring replacement of the awning fabric, arms, or possibly the entire system. If it rips out of your RV you will have exposed your RV walls to the elements and get water damage to the RV walls. Once the water gets in, it doesn't dry out well, if at all.
~ Enjoy your awning but never leave it unattended while it is out so you can have it to use for a long time. Take care of your awning with proper cleaner/conditioner. Come in to Kenai Peninsula RV Parts to check out our RV care products.

It's warming up and we are getting stocked up for the season. We have decided to increase our hours and beginning Monday, April 13 our hours will be as follows:

Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Saturday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

We are currently taking information and making appointments for dewinterization, preventative maintenance, and other needs. Please call 907-262-2700 to set up your appointment. If we don't answer, please leave a detailed message.

If you have Joe's cell phone number, please don't call him, call the store as he is going to be too busy to pick up calls or answer texts.

Looks like we are finally getting a break in weather. It's not above freezing yet, but you can still start fixing some of those items you put off last fall! We will be opening a few hours a day, Monday - Friday. If you need us to be at the store at a particular time, please feel free to call 907-262-2700 and leave a message, if we don't answer.

With Spring just around the corner, we are watching the weather closely and hope to be able to re-open for the 2026 season at least a few days per week starting the week ending March 21. EFFECTIVE FRIDAY OCTOBER 31, 2025!
