We are saddened to learn of the passing of Bill Krull Sr. Bill is the father of 2003 Patriot Sprint Group champion Billy Krull. The below message was shared by his family:
To the entire racing community, we want you to know, that our father, Bill Krull, passed away in his sleep, on March 11th, 2024. Many of you know our father in one capacity or another. As the incredible crew chief for Merv Treichler through the 70's and 80's, boy, seems like yesterday, or at Ransomville or Merrittville crewing for one of us boys or at every track up and down the east coast over the years. Maybe he had an idea for you, a part you needed or quick tire change on the pits. Whatever it was, take a minute and say a quick prayer and remember with us all he gave to this huge community...
We can see it now, dad, Ivan, Richie, Cale, Jack, Styvie and Earnhardt too, all sitting around arguing about the racing now a days and how you've all ruined them cars, those special motors, tire compounds and shocks. Oh and all them stupid rules, rules, rules!!
But most of all we see him reunited with his dad, mother, sister and spouse.
What a wonderful way to remember our ....dad
We have all the confidence in our Lord, who received him after quite a battle, into his loving and forgiving arms.
