The NMHRC Hunt Test is this weekend, 8/27-8/28 ... We have three BIG items: Gunners Up Launcher, E-Collar, and a New Cooler with Craft Beers! ALSO ... several great items will be on display on the general raffle table!! Be sure to see Karen or another board member at the hunt test to buy tickets! The raffle will be drawn at the tailgate in the early evening. Tickets can also be purchased in advance of the test, just send us a message! Thank you for supporting the Northern Montezuma HRC!

Looking forward to seeing everyone at this weekend's HT!! For the traditional HRC style tailgate, the club is grilling up hamburgers & hotdogs, providing drinks, and we're fortunate to have salt potatoes, ham/mac salad, fruit, broccoli salad, ziti, and tossed salad donated to date by members!! Looking for more dishes to pass, appetizers, and sweets ... If you're able to help out by contributing to the tailgate with a dish to pass, it would be so greatly appreciated!! The NMHRC is gearing up for our upcoming Hunt Test in a few short weeks and promoting pre-sale raffle tickets for the chance to win a Gunners Up Launcher!! Tickets are available for $15 each OR you can buy 2 tickets for $20 !! Winner will be drawn on 8/27 at the Saturday tailgate.

Feel free to reach out to any NMHRC board member or reply here to make arrangements to buy raffle ticket(s) for the chance to win the Launcher. We'll have tickets at the 8/14 training day as well.

Big thanks goes out to Karen Vanderlinde, NMHRC Treasurer, for her hard work in running the raffle table at our June & August hunt tests. Anyone who may be available at the test Saturday to help Karen set up the raffle tables, sell tickets or even donate raffle items, please reach out to Karen or respond here. Thank you!!

We have a training day scheduled at Frost Hill Farms for Sunday, July 31st!! Need a headcount of the number of dogs that will be running, please respond here or email Jim Poole directly at [email protected] no later than Friday, July 29th.

The plan is to meet at the building on the kennel side 8-8:15am to air dogs and help with set up. Training Fee is $10 / Dog.

Great training day at Echoewood with NMHRC Members!! When we say this is a hardcore group, we’re not kidding … many members traveled quite a ways to train, many having trained the day prior with the AKC group from FingerLakes RC, and Jim Poole did not disappoint with challenging set ups !! Great group, good to see everyone, and thank you all for your support of the handlers & dogs at various levels … this is how we enjoy and grow the sport!! 🐾🦆

The NMHRC & FLRC Clubs in CNY are happy to share the news of the arrival of our newest junior handler, Miss Avery Mangus!! It’s obvious that Avery gets the game as she waited to make her arrival following the NMHRC 6/18-6/19 hunt test so dad, Zack, could run the family’s American Water Spaniel, Timber!! Congratulations Zack & Emily on the birth of your beautiful baby girl and on Timber’s Started pass! We’re excited to watch your family grow and proud of your achievements with your pups!!
