After six amazing years at Shady Grove Harbor Marina, Jennifer and John Carter wanted to share some big news with our lake family. Shady Grove Harbor has officially been sold, and we are excited to introduce the new owners, Vanessa R***r and Ben Arnold.
This marina has been our home and our heart for the past six years. We’ve loved getting to know you, swapping stories on the dock, helping you get out on the water, and watching friendships grow here. From early morning fishing trips to sunset cruises, you all have made this place special.
The good news is, Shady Grove is being left in great hands. Vanessa and Ben have been running Cove Ridge Marina on Watauga Lake for the past five seasons, and they truly understand what it means to care for boaters, families, and a waterfront community. They’re excited to bring that experience here and are really looking forward to meeting everyone.
We want to say a heartfelt thank you for your support, friendship, and trust over the years. Please help us welcome Vanessa and Ben to Lake Chickamauga and the Shady Grove Harbor family—be sure to stop by, say hello, and show them what makes this place so special.
