For all the questions about the shark fin, hereās a brief explanation!
I took my inspiration from unlimited class circle track, and scientific articles from formula and gt racing. The purpose is three-fold. Firstly, it acts as a turning vane, increasing turn-in and change of direction. You can experience this effect when you put a flat hand out the window of a moving car, and rotate your wrist allowing the wind to change your arm moving up or down. Secondly, it helps counteract massive yaw angles during cornering. Going sideways isnāt the fastest way through corners typically, and I can fine-tune how I want the car to respond to certain courses by removing or adding the fin. The photo shows an example of this where it is acting like a huge air brake, pushing the air/dust up and over, making one side high-pressure, the other side low-pressure. I theory, youāre looking at a few lbs of downforce. Thirdly, I personally think it looks fu***ng rad, and Iām a big proponent of the ālook fast, drive fastā method š
