Triangle Bait and Tackle has been a family owned and operated business since 1981. Currently all eight employees are family members. Owner Jim Strege purchased then Triangle Beverage after graduating from college. Struggling to survive as “just another convenience store”, the store decided to add some bait and tackle in 1985. Following steady growth, it didn’t take long before the little convenien

ce store became a legitimate tackle shop. It became obvious that a name change was in order and Triangle Beverage became Triangle Bait and Tackle in 2008. Being small and triangular in shape, our business has its share of challenges. However, with an outstanding location and our customized displays, Triangle Bait and Tackle is one of the most unique shops you’ll ever see. Our outside displays, interior moving walls and even ceiling displays, allows us to showcase inventory equivalent to a store four times our size. Triangle Bait and Tackle specializes in quality tackle at competitive prices for the northwest angler. We also do custom orders for that hard to find item. Our staff enjoys helping beginning anglers get started with the proper equipment that is right for them. And for the “new to the area” customer, we will happily get you to one of a dozen lakes, four rivers, or Puget Sound – all within 15 minutes of our store! THE FINAL DAY

Well it's here - our final day. After 43 years it comes down to one final day tomorrow. We'll be open from 8:00am-5:30pm. Quite a bittersweet day for us - all our staff will be on hand throughout the day.
Our inventory is really shrinking but we definitely have some quality gear to make it worth a trip
in. Still have lots of crab pots available. Also fairly strong in bass rods, Bass combos and baitcast reels. Still have about 40 boxes of humpy squid jigs, 50 to a box for $40.
Our fixtures and shelves are also being sold. Pegboard going for .30/sq. ft. Our sliding panels and gondola island sections are also for sale.
Finally, we will be open next Tuesday and Wednesday from 10-4 cleaning up and having customers pick up their fixtures then. You may also come in and check out our fixtures to see if anything works for you. I will also help demonstrate how our sliding panels get set up.

STILL TIME TO HIT OUR SALE

We're down to our last 3 days of our Retirement Sale. Our final day is Saturday. Though our inventory levels are shrinking fast, we still have plenty of great deals to be had. Here's a look at some of our most plentiful stock.

SALMON EXTENSION ON SNOHOMISH SYSTEM

WDFW announced today that the coho season will be extended through the end of December on the Snohomish system. This will include the Snohomish, Skykomish and Wallace Rivers. This goes into effect Nov. 1. As we decipher their announcement, it appears the bait restriction goes away as does barbless hooks. Night closure and anti snagging rule remain in effect. Best fishing for coho should be on the Sky and Wallace. Chum are moving into the Snohomish but are off limits again this year.
