Snohomish County Parks Forester will be speaking at this year's Focus on Farming & Forestry Conference at the Evergreen State Fair on November 4.

Across Snohomish County, forested parks provided the public access to engage with nature. However, not all of these forests are in a condition to be resilient to threats such as wildfire, blowdown events, insects and diseases. Snohomish County Parks Forester, Stacey Fuchs, will discuss plans for managing risk on Parks properties, and the specific steps that will be taken to address the risk of fuels loading and stand decline.
