I'm going to be tuning in my focus on my Fell Ponies. Therefore, I will be selling my lovely Gypsy mare. I bred her thoughtfully 6 years ago and am very pleased with her temperament, quality, and gentle motherly instincts. Plus she's got a bit of sass at times as well. She will be available soon, as she needs to wean her c**t. She is ready to start her training. I'd like to see her be someone's ride/drive pony. She stands 13.1hh so a good size for most adults and children. If not sold, I will have her trained to ride/drive and she will be available next spring. No tire kickers and no silly trade/offers please.

Moonlit Beatrice is a beautiful Gypsy mare. I bred this mare and am super happy with how she has turned out. She is out of EmmyLyn and by Wyatt of Lexlin. PSSM1 clear by parentage. She is very sweet and motherly. She had her first foal this year and is a wonderful mother.

WONDERFUL NEWS!
The Society is absolutely delighted to share this wonderful news in advance of the Press Release being issued later today...

KING CHARLES III PATRON OF THE FELL PONY SOCIETY

The Fell Pony Society is extremely proud, and deeply honoured, to announce that the charity's new Patron will be King Charles III following more than 40 years of patronage by the Late Queen Elizabeth II. This fabulous news was received on the anniversary of the King’s Coronation.

The Society was formed in 1922 and Fell ponies have been a favourite with the Royal family since its foundation. Her Majesty enjoyed riding and bred Fell ponies under her Balmoral prefix. The late Duke of Edinburgh competed in pony driving trials at National level with a team of four Fell ponies; and presented the Society with The Edinburgh Award; which is presented on his behalf by the Society each year for excellence in driving. The current Duchess of Edinburgh and her daughter Lady Louise Windsor both drive Fell ponies.

The Society currently has around 1000 members; and Fell ponies, which are classed as ‘At Risk’ by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust, are most common in the North of England but are also located across Europe, the US, Russia and Australia. Around 350 foals are born each year.

A Spokesperson said "We're absolutely delighted that the King has chosen to continue the Royal patronage that we have enjoyed for over 40 years. This is wonderful recognition of the work of the Society, which aims to foster and keep pure the old breed of pony which has roamed the northern fells since prehistoric times; and to provide information to raise awareness of this wonderfully versatile pony breed."

Josie is a petite little Fell that is 13.1hh. She is a very friendly and willing pony. She's had 5 months of professional saddle training in 2020, and is able to have a comfortable walk, trot and canter each way. She is very light in her movement, and sensitive to her aids.
