I compiled the video clips that I took today at the last day of Camp 1 🙂 it was another special day with these little horse enthusiasts. Camps are not the easiest thing to plan & coordinate but having polite, well-behaved kids at camp sure makes it worth it! Thank you parents!!

The best time to start learning horsemanship is around 8 years old. The next best time is today.

Many adult beginners start ‘late’ because they never had the opportunity in their youth. Sometimes their parents couldn't afford it or they grew up in the city. Sometimes they had planned to do lessons as soon as they were old enough to do it themselves, but then life’s realities got in the way.

Sometimes people are embarrassed to start ‘so late’ and even feel like they have to justify wanting to learn something purely because it brings them life & joy.

You don’t need to give anyone a reason to start pursuing an interest & you certainly shouldn’t apologize for being an adult beginner.

Life interests don’t have an expiration date! And horsemanship is not just for kids.

There is so much more to horses than being ‘good’ at riding. Even those who have been riding their whole lives are still learning.

If you've been waiting for the "right time" to try the thing you've always wanted to do, this is your reminder that there probably isn't one.

There is only today. The only regret you might have is wishing you started sooner.

This is a very small group class where YOU get to experience dipping your toes into the beautiful possibilities for your life in a low-stress supportive environment. Whether you have big goals for showing, competing, taking riding lessons or simply waking up to your own horses munching off the porch one day, this class is for you!

We give our regular students a July & August break so that they can focus on making summer family memories (& we can focus on farm projects & horse camps) 😙 but if our students do equestrian exercises at home in July & August, there will be awards when lessons resume in September! We didn’t mind 60’s & cloudy one bit for the last lesson day of June! All 3 horses had rides & pedicures 💅🏼 Thank you Lilly for helping out while Ms. Olivia is away on her summer travels. 🇺🇸🚐
