Letter from Coach Lauryn:
"Hi everyone!💜I’m Lauryn Peppers, and I’m so excited to be leading the 16U Flush this season! 🥎
Softball has been my life since I was 7 years old. I started my high school career playing at Shiloh for two years before transferring and graduating from Grayson High School. From there, I went on to compete at the Division I level at Florida A&M University, where I primarily pitched and also played infield. One of my proudest memories from college was pitching a no-hitter and breaking a school record, a moment I’ll never forget.
Outside of playing, I’ve been dedicated to giving back to the sport and helping the next generation of athletes shine. Throughout college, I volunteered as a coach at Shiloh High School during the summers and gave private lessons to athletes looking to grow their skills. I’ve also had the opportunity to mentor young players through programs like SWAG (Strong Worthy Athletic Girl) and Athlete to Athlete, both of which allowed me to connect with young women who share the same passion and drive for the game.
As a coach, I believe in building a culture of discipline, confidence, and teamwork, but also in creating an environment where players enjoy the game and believe in themselves. I live by the mottos: “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t want to work hard” and “Trust the process.” My goal is to instill those same values in every player I work with.
I can’t wait to hit the ground running, and watch each athlete grow not only as a player but as a person. This season is going to be sooo special!✨"
