The par 72 championship golf course was designed by Steve Melnyk in 1993 and modified by Bill Boswell in 2004. Country Club of Gwinnett is located in the prestigious Country Club of Gwinnett community in Snellville, Georgia. The Club features 18 holes of championship golf on densely wooded, rolling terrain. The clubhouse overlooks a natural lake that comes into play on six holes.

We are excited to recognize Precious Banks as our September Member of the Month! Precious is one of our newer members, and we are incredibly grateful for the support, enthusiasm, and positive energy she has brought to Country Club of Gwinnett. From getting involved around the club to spending time on the course and enjoying the club with her family, Precious has quickly become a wonderful part of the CCG community.

We asked Precious a few questions about her experience at the club:

What is your favorite thing about being a member at Country Club of Gwinnett?
"My absolute favorite part about being a member is the CCG staff. Every time I am at the club I am greeted with smiling faces and great energy. From my first visit to becoming a member, I never felt like a stranger. It is such a warm and fuzzy feeling to know that I am welcome!"

Do you have a favorite hole on the course?
"I would say Hole 3 is my favorite because it's a short and sweet Par 3. I feel the magic there each time! "

What is one of your favorite memories at the club?
"One of my favorite memories is sitting on the patio after a round well into the evening, watching my kids play on the hill out front. The sun was setting and the weather was just right. It was a perfect day!"

Congratulations to Paul Heppner, our August Member of the Month! We appreciate Paul’s continued support and involvement at Country Club of Gwinnett and are proud to have him as part of our club community.

We asked Paul 3 questions about the club and this is what he said:

1. What do you enjoy most about being a member here? Paul: The most valuable club benefit to me are the quality people I am able to play golf with. Having a great group of people, like we have at the Country Club of Gwinnett, really enhances the golf experience.

2. What is your favorite hole to play and why? Paul: The rapid improvements all over the course have made the rounds much more fun and have reestablished the intended playability and challenges of each hole. Hole number 12 is one of the most interesting and fun holes on the course. The two tiered green is the one most difficult but will reward a skillful shot.

3. What is one of your favorite memories or experiences you have had at the club? Paul: One of my most memorable moments at Country Club of Gwinnett had to be my first hole in one in 2021. It was a lot of fun!
