Just four short years ago these Panthers "graduated" from Oregon Park with a trip to Cooperstown. With most of them now sophomores and juniors 10 of the 11 have gone on to play for their high school teams (shown in red). All the boys and families remain in contact as friends well beyond the bounds of baseball fields. This was a special team and a special group of people. But this is also a testament to the bonds that baseball often builds.

Our week in Cooperstown finally comes to a close. A sincere thank you to three wonderful coaches - Joe Rearden, Tom Martin and David Brown - for the job they have done over the past few years developing this group of boys. The baseball instruction, leading by example, and most of all teaching the Panthers how to play the right way and to respect the game of baseball. These coaches gave their all and we parents, and Oregon Park leadership, could not have chosen a better group to lead this team. And thanks to OP for letting us play under your banner. Many of the boys and us families met coming up through rec ball and will always be “OP green” at heart. Best of luck to our sister team, the OP Mavericks, as they roll into Cooperstown today and until we meet at another ball field somewhere...

Panthers had quite a day today! A first round win over Carmel Pups from Indiana with a walk off grand slam by Liam Manley. The Panthers Cooperstown run came to an end with a gutsy loss in the second round. Congratulations to Jacob Jenkins, Liam Manley (2), Davis Bargeron, and Cade Reardon (2) for the homers they hit today!

Panthers finish out bracket play with a 13-12 win over the Rochester Recruits (Michigan) to secure 77th place out of 104 with a 2-4 record.
