Smyrna Soccer Club

Smyrna Soccer Club Originally founded in 1988 as Smyrna West Soccer, NTH - Smyrna was created in 2019 when Smyrna Soccer Club merged with NASA Tophat.

NTH-Smyrna offers both Recreational and Competitive soccer programs for youth 3 to 18 years of age. The Recreational program is open to all youth. The Competitive program, which offers a higher level of competition, is available by try-out only.

Good morning Smyrna. We start today with one of the best teams to ever play at ssc, the 2002 boys red team. This team was coached by Bryan Waltenburg, Matt Bellamy, and Craig Reynolds. They won 2 state championships and 1 regional league championship. Of their two trips to regionals they won their group each time. Although their final season was cut short due to the Covid pandemic in Spring 2020, they had already qualified to go to the regional championship again. Throughout today we’re gonna post pictures of teams that have been submitted, so shout out your favorite team below or send us a photo!

Good morning! This first post is a tribute to not just the best office dog in the world, Bolt, but also to all of the amazing people behind the scenes who have made Smyrna soccer club special. Take a bow Hayli McQuade, Kellie Parham, and Natalie Yozzo. Their presence was at every game and practice even if you didn’t see them. I know that the first post in this series makes it seem like SSC is gone forever but it’s simply not. Our history and our culture will always define and shape us even in our new home. The future is exciting for soccer in our city and we’re going to bring all of our past along with us. Keep sending in memories!
