What did you dream about as a kid? Before you wanted to go pro as an athlete or hustled to fit in your training schedule, work, school, and gym sessions, what drove your passion to play rugby?

Did you picture yourself playing in front of a massive stadium filled with people cheering for you? Or maybe you dreamed of scoring the winning try against the All Blacks.

We all know kids have BIG dreams and have tenacity to get what they want. Even as adults, we encourage kids no matter what to go for their dreams and that they can achieve anything.

For some reason, when we reach adulthood, those dreams fade and seem harder to reach. We hear doubts and failures from other people who use to support our dreams.

In order to achieve those goals and dreams as an adult, you have to be willing to step out of your comfort zone, say goodbye to those limiting beliefs, and stay committed to the course. Maybe you need to learn a new method of preparing and recovering from rugby training and taking care of your body to go pro.

You don't have to do it alone. You can be surrounded by others who are like you with guidance, support, and knowledge to achieve your goals and become the pro you always "dreamed" about.

Take a chance on yourself and say YES to yourself.

Coaches often talk about Triple Efforts ON the field.

Make a pass (1st), support your teammate (2nd), clear a ruck (3rd) OR get up off the ground quicker than your opponent (1st), sprint to fill a spot in the defensive line (2nd), great line speed (3rd) and make a dominant tackle (4th).

Back to back to back efforts.

It actually requires NO talent to do a lot of this work. It's MAHI. The willingness to do the work.

How about 'Triple Efforts' OFF the field?

Yep....

Eating better and more consistently throughout the day, drinking more water, getting a good night's sleep, bouncing back quickly after a setback, doing your mobility, getting that run or gym session in, spending time with your kids, helping a mate out at work, asking how someone is doing......and actually listening to their reply vs. just asking to ask (we have all been guilty of this!).

Another example could be....

1. Eat before practice
2. Practice
3. Eat after practice.... Simple, right?

All these efforts - big or small - make the difference. Focus on the process.

If you are serious about your efforts on the field, then you should be equally serious about your efforts off the field as well.

Same could be said for your food, recovery and overall daily habits! What's holding you back from developing WORLD CLASS habits.....🤷‍♂️⁉️⠀

Because have you ever found yourself or someone else complaining, whining or playing the blame game over a poor performance? ⠀
⠀.....yup, it happens. It can get heated. Because we all want to win and perform. But with that said, did you WIN the week leading into match day? Did you do everything you could to give yourself a chance to play well? On and off the field?⠀

We see players at all levels taking shortcuts during the week......but are expecting a great/stellar performance on Saturday? ⠀

LOOK AT YOUR WEEK. ⠀

If you are undersized you MUST have some serious X Factor & SKILL. Just like the Italian No. 15 (less than 160lbs) who carved it up in the 78th minute and set up the match winning try vs. Wales over the weekend I had to post this!⠀

🤝 SHARING ATHLETE WINS

"My experience with the Halls was a bet on myself. I knew that there were components of my life that I was not taking enough responsibility for controlling. I knew that my exercise, diet, and sleep habits were not aiding in managing the stresses of life that I was already feeling. I bet that if I tried my hardest for a couple months to listen and learn from friends and mentors that I knew had a better grip on how to live a healthy lifestyle, I would come out on the other end with a better grip on how to handle the reality of living a stress-filled college lifestyle. Doing better is infectious. Once changes to one area of your life, you notice the rippling butterfly effect that it triggers in the other aspects of your health.⠀

By the end of the experience, I noticed notable changes in the whole way that I interacted with the world. Confidence went up and with it came a desire to improve in other habitual areas of life. My whole mindset was shifting from “what if I did this” to “how can I make this happen”. The difference may seem small, but the shift in mindset has led to important growth. As I have found to be true in my experience with Troy and Sarah, it is the small changes that we have consistency in over long periods of time that constitute sustainable change.⠀

The physical result of the two months I spent with Troy and Sarah was a loss of 2 belt sizes and 10 lbs. All it took was manageable changes in my diet and focusing on a workout schedule that worked for me. I had commitment to make a change going in, but the support and constant accountability that was made available to me made all the difference. I cannot say enough how thankful I am to have both Troy and Sarah in my corner and always encouraging me to set the bar a little higher."

As an emerging elite athlete, you’re constantly trying to find ways to improve your game. Maybe you can get a step faster, a few pounds heavier or lighter, jump a bit higher, or even make it ⠀
through the third grueling workout of the day. And believe me - the supplement industry knows this. They take full advantage of your emotional investment in your sport and sell, sell, sell, often ⠀
