A huge THANK YOU to all of the athletes, coaches, volunteers and spectators who helped make the Julia Bargman Memorial Invitational such a special day! 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️

Today marked our first home varsity/JV cross country meet in ~5 years, and it was pretty incredible to see our course filled with runners, families and friends again. Most importantly, we’re honored to continue remembering Julia Bargman through an event that brings communities together. 💗

Special thanks to our Smithville School District volunteers who helped all over the course, to Smithville Parks and Rec for prepping the course and grounds, to B & B Race KC for providing timing services, and to Grace Community Church of Smithville, MO for the use of their parking lot for the busses.

Hey Smithville! Heads up - cross-country meet will be held at Smith’s Fork Park tomorrow, 8/29, from approximately 7 AM–noon. Expect increased traffic and congestion in and around the park during that time. Please plan accordingly!

The XC team put in a little extra recovery before the FIRST RACE of the season with ice baths! The water may be cold, but we’re ready to bring the 🔥 tomorrow at our home meet!

Thank you, Warriors! You showed up for our car wash fundraiser in a BIG way! Through your generosity, we raised over $1,000 that will go toward our team shirts and other resources to support our athletes.

All proceeds benefit the team, so give what you can and help our runners go the distance.
