It is with great sadness that we spread the news that Master Herb Thompson - founder, owner, and Master Instructor of Thompson’s Karate Studio, has passed away.
Herb received his Black Belt from Greg Smith who started Smith’s Karate and then branched out to create his own school Thompson’s Karate Studio in Greencastle PA.
Most of you met Herb at Dog Days or Tournaments co-sponsored by Smith’s and Thompsons.
He was a great Martial Artist, taught the art of self defense to 1000’s of students
and promoted many to Black Belts.
I am honored to have known Herb.
