The Henry County Rod & Gun Club is a MEMBERS ONLY club with an 8-acre lake for fishing and camping. Memberships are $75 for this year (2016) and last until fishing licenses are to be renewed. Memberships include the purchaser of the membership (must be at least 18) and their immediate family - spouses and children under 18. This does NOT include purchaser's parents! No discharging of weapons at anytime on property
Fishing licenses are REQUIRED for all people fishing in the lake over the age of 16. This is strictly enforced. The Henry County Game Warden is a regular visitor and checks fishing licenses as well as memberships. Both club memberships and fishing licenses may be purchased from Tom Eldridge
Please, do not start any fires when there is a burning ban in Henry County. Signs will be posted. Do not leave burning fires unattended. Membership meetings are normally the last Wednesday night of each month at 7:00. Schedules are posted on the clubhouse door. Members are encouraged to attend and their votes count towards events and improvements of the lake area. NOTE: The clubhouse side of the lake was recently dredged. This means that the water by the land is approximately 4'-5' deep now as opposed to earlier when it was just inches. Please keep a close eye on your children!
