Replying to Herald Star article,from commissioners. Morelli stated someone has to carry good insurance. I had k and k Motorsport group out of Chicago Illinois. Park wanted 1 million dollar policy, I provided 5 million dollar policy,and insurance for park trespassers. For 8 years I paid my insurance religiously, we are in good standings, And no claims. Timmons said 5,400 a year nice deal,that young man evidently knows nothing about the track. The park or commissioner never put a dime in that place. The previous owners put money into the place. Freebird dragway, Glover construction, and racers put over $60,000 in new track surface, then it was taken away 4 years later, so who got a nice deal. And no negotiation. They weren’t negotiating with us. And as far as the kick backs and buddy system, those comments ,we’re not directed towards commissioners, they were directed towards the park board. For 8 years my family has never had any good dealings with them. Controlling, total control. We wish next leasse good luck
