The Auxiliary Club was formed in a meeting on June 14, 1958. Guy Johnson, Sr. met with the wives of the R. R. Rifle Club members for the purpose of forming the Ladies Auxiliary. President - Helen Watson (wife of Edward Watson), Vice President - Catherine Johnson (wife of Luther Johnson), Recording Secretary - Marian Lewis (wife of Ervin Lewis), Financial Secretary - Alberta Miller (wife of William Miller), Treasurer - Lydia Jones (wife of Brinton Jones) and Chaplains - Sara Jones (mother of Brinton Jones) and Martha Johnson (mother of the Johnson brothers). The above facts are documented in a handwritten Minutes Book.
In addition to the officers listed above, the Members were: Elizabeth Johnson, Erma Bond, Anna Mae White, Alfreda Johnson, Ethel Johnson and Doris Bond.
At this meeting Guy Johnson (Founding member of the R. R. Rifle Club) advised the ladies they would need a meaning and a purpose. The Ladies brought up they would be happy to be a part of the same club as their husbands.
Regular meetings were to be held on the second Saturday of each month. They planned the July meeting to have a covered dish supper, inviting the men and have them pay $.75 each as a start for their treasury. The monthly dues were set at $.25 per member. They started their treasury with $3.25 collected from members dues.
