Congratulations to the students selected to serve on the 2026 Slocomb P*ewee Football Junior Board! We are excited to have you as part of our team and look forward to seeing the leadership, dedication, and positive example you'll provide throughout the season.

We also want to thank every student who took the time to apply. We were incredibly impressed by the number of applications we received and the quality of the applicants. Unfortunately, we couldn't select everyone this year. If you weren't chosen this season, we hope you'll continue supporting Slocomb P*ewee Football and please apply again next year.

The League President will be in touch with all selected Junior Board members soon with additional information, expectations, and details about the upcoming season.

Congratulations again to our 2026 Junior Board! We can't wait to get the season started.

🏈 Football Practice Starts Monday! 🏈

The wait is over… Football practice officially begins Monday at 6:00 PM at the Slocomb Rec Park! We can't wait to kick off another great season.

A few reminders for all players and parents:

You should have received a **GroupMe invitation** from your coach. If you haven't joined yet, please do so as soon as possible, as this will be our primary way to communicate throughout the season.

**What to wear:**

* T-shirt
* Athletic shorts
* Cleats

**What to bring:**

* Mouth Guard
* A water bottle

🌞 With the summer heat, **hydration is extremely important.** Please encourage your player to drink plenty of water throughout the day before practice.

🛑 We also recommend avoiding sugary drinks and sodas on practice days, as they can contribute to dehydration.

**Equipment will be handed out Monday evening, so please plan to arrive on time.

We're excited to see everyone on the field and are looking forward to a fun, safe, and successful season.
