Nicole Kempton has been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Team. Kempton, who also garnered CSC Academic All-America honors last year, earned All-PSAC West honors in both singles and doubles in 2026 while maintaining a 4.00 GPA.

Slippery Rock women's tennis ended the 2026 season as the 24th-ranked team in the nation, the highest year-end position in program history. SRU also had two nationally ranked singles athletes and a ranked doubles team to go with a plethora of regionally ranked athletes.

The No. 28 Slippery Rock women's tennis team's season came to an end Tuesday following a 4-1 loss to fourth-ranked Nova Southeastern in the Round of 16 of the 2026 NCAA Tournament. SRU concludes the year with a 16-4 record and as reigning PSAC champions.

Honors poured in for the Slippery Rock women's tennis team Thursday as Amaia Balaguer Brau was named the PSAC West Athlete of the Year, Matt Meredith earned PSAC West Coach of the Year recognition and SRU claimed five of the 13 spots on the 2026 All-PSAC West Team.
