I got a request for a second “We the People” bow. I said yes because it would be a Tryba longbow vs a Cardinal recurve like the first. I also changed up the woods using haystack maple for the limbs and curly maple for the flag.

It comes out of the form tomorrow and I’ll keep moving them along.

PS: I am recording the whole build of this 2nd bow and will be creating a video of my build process. Maybe it will inspire another bowyer to create something exciting. 🤘🤩

Coming up on the big 250th so I am racing to be on time. Good thing I got this one out of the form this morning and ready to move it forward. Next week it will really take shape as I have some events this week.

But she is really coming together as I envisioned. It will truly be an eye catching bow! I can’t wait to see the bird’s eye maple limbs. They are going to shine! 🤩

Gotta love spray says! These two are getting their first matte coats today. But don’t they look gorgeous with that base layer gloss?! 🤩

The all maple bow is the one in This bunch that keeps grabbing my attention. Something about the light colors that makes me smile. 😄

Huge congratulations to John Sorensen on winning the bow from the Trempealeau shoot! He was able to meet up at a shoot yesterday and pick it with. Looks great with that Arc Angel Hat and Trempealeau Archers t-shirt!

Hope it creates some great memories for you this summer and into hunting season!

The fourth bow of the week had to wait h til today to get her wings. But dang what a sweet bow. Not only in looks with that Black and White Ebony riser with carbon back and B&W Ebony belly! She spits arrows out like tacks. Just a dream to shoot.

Fingers crossed the customer thinks it’s too pretty to shoot and I’ll keep it! 🤣 A guy can hope right. I already showed him pictures and he is jazzed.

Third bow that got its wings today. Maybe I should start shooting left handed… 😅

This bow is a replacement for a bow I donated to the Wisconsin Traditional Archers banquet this year. The young lady that won it was left handed, I donated a right handed bow, so I told her I would make her a matching one she could shoot. 👍🏹

I hope it brings her luck this fall! I hear she was talking it up to her hunting group according to her dad.

Second bow is for a customer. All maple for this one!

Limbs are a beautiful bird’s eye. Riser is stabilized maple Burl with a darker figured maple accent and Natural G10. Overlays are curly ambrosia maple. At 57”, this things is a dream to shoot!

Wings Wednesday!!! Today I have three bows getting their wings.

The first is a stock bow. Cherry burl riser from Trempealeau Archers with Bocote limbs. The colors blend so well when the riser is wet down. She points and shoots just like I expect from a Tryba. Quiet and smooth.

A 55” & 57” Tryba and a lefty 56” Cardinal in the works this week. Excited to get them flinging arrows soon!
