The Brawlers had a FULL weekend of baseball at the Party Animals Fundraiser Tournament! ⚾️

Baseball, friends, family, and a whole lot of fun. The boys got to take the field with and against friends they’ve made along the way, which made this weekend even better.

Some might call them the “ops.” We call it supporting each other regardless of what uniform we’re wearing. These kids can compete between the lines and still be friends when the game is over.

The Brawlers went undefeated through the weekend before coming up one run short in the championship, finishing 2nd.

Still learning. Still growing. Still putting the pieces together. But these boys played their butts off, and we’re proud of what we saw this weekend.

Keep building, Brawlers. 🐊⚾️

A Statement from the Bayou Brawlers

We’ve become aware of a recent social media post making accusations about the Bayou Brawlers and people associated with our team.

We normally choose not to respond to social media drama, and that will continue to be our approach. However, when statements begin to question the character and values of our team, we feel it is appropriate to address them once.

Some of what is being shared involves private conversations and personal situations that have been presented without the full context. We will not respond by sharing anyone else’s private business or turning personal matters into public entertainment.

We do want to make one thing very clear: The Bayou Brawlers do not discriminate against any player or family based on race, ethnicity, nationality, or background. Decisions involving our roster and players are made based on baseball, development, team needs, and what we believe is best for the team.

Those who have been part of the Brawlers know what this team stands for and how our players and families are treated. We’re comfortable letting that speak louder than accusations made on social media.

We won’t be going back and forth, responding to posts, or feeding into negativity. We will continue to protect our players and families at all costs, while refusing to let unnecessary conflict on social media or at the ballpark take the focus away from our kids and this team.

Our focus is and will remain our players, our families, and baseball.

That’s where our attention belongs. 🧡

I was hoping to get a picture of our boys with this banner first, but I couldn’t let another minute go by without giving credit where credit is due!

Huge shout-out to Dugout Decal for absolutely knocking our new dugout banner out of the park! We love how it turned out!

And an even bigger THANK YOU to every sponsor on this banner. Every name you see represents a business or individual who chose to support our boys and help make this season possible. We don’t take that support lightly!

The Brawlers have some pretty incredible people in their corner, and we are beyond grateful for every single one of you.

You back our boys. We proudly hang your name. 🧡⚾️

Only our second tournament, and these boys are already showing what they’re capable of. 🔥

2-0 in pool play, then battled back from 10-2 to 10-7 in bracket play. We didn’t get the win, but the fight was there.

Once we clean up the little things and these boys find their rhythm together, they’re going to be one hell of a team.

We’re just getting started. 🐊⚾💪🏼
