🤼‍♂️ WRESTLING PARENT MEETING 🤼‍♀️

We’ll be holding a Wrestling Parent Meeting to go over everything you need to know about the upcoming season, including expectations, practices, competitions, schedules, and how to get your wrestler started.

Whether your child has wrestled before or has never stepped on the mat, we’d love to have you there!

🏈 Saints Football Pool Fundraiser 🐯

The 2026–2027 Slidell Tiger Takedown Booster Club is selling squares for a Saints regular-season football pool to help support our Slidell High Wrestling Team!

💰 $30 per square
🏈 $100 payout per game
🏆 $25 paid to the winner of each quarter’s ending score
⏱️ No overtime

With 17 regular-season games, that gives you 68 chances to win! 🎉

💵 Payment: Venmo -stamant

Not only will you have a little extra fun watching the Saints and hoping your numbers hit, but your support will directly help our wrestlers! Funds raised will go toward tournament entry fees, equipment, and other needs that help our wrestlers train, compete, and improve.

One final tune-up before the school year starts.

We had several Tigers make the trip to Deep South Nationals this summer, and a few brought home some hardware. Competing against some of the toughest wrestlers in the region is exactly how we continue to raise the standard.

High School Individual Tournament Results:

⭕️JJ Scully battled to a 5-2 record and earned a 4th-place finish at 113 lbs, claiming All-American honors.

⭕️Jhase St. Amant fought through an incredibly deep and talented 126 lb bracket, finishing 2-2 against tough competition.

Duals Results:

🔘Cadence Bordelon competed with BRAWL Pink out of Louisiana, going 5-6 at 107 lbs and showing tremendous growth throughout the weekend.

🔘Kylie Mackles gained valuable mat time competing with Plaquemine Wrestling Club out of Louisiana.

🔘Zander Hollis wrestled with the All American team out of Mississippi and finished 8-2, falling just one match short of All-American status.

🔘JJ Scully wrestled with BRAWL Silver out of Louisiana and continued to gain experience against top-level competition.

🔘Jhase St. Amant represented Element Wrestling out of Alabama and finished with a strong 6-3 record in dual competition.

🔘Jayvier Hollis wrestled with BRAWL Silver out of Louisiana, putting together an outstanding 8-1 weekend and earning All-American honors.

Proud of these athletes for choosing to seek out the best competition and challenge themselves before the season begins. The work being put in now will pay off when it matters most.

Great weekend of wrestling, great competition, and great representation of The Dell. The season is right around the corner.

Huge shoutout to Richie Clementi and Adonis Bonar for spending their weekend with us and investing in our wrestlers. 💪

We had the opportunity to learn from some of the best, and our athletes took full advantage of it.
We're ready for Day 2 tomorrow as we sharpen our skills one last time before the school year begins. Time to finish the summer strong.

Greatness isn't found in your hometown.

It's earned wherever the best competition is.💪

This offseason, our wrestlers refused to stay comfortable. From Louisiana to Nevada, Utah, Texas, Alabama, Wisconsin, and Virginia, they chased challenges instead of avoiding them.
Every mile traveled. Every match wrestled. Every lesson learned.

Because champions aren't built by taking the easy road, they're built by hunting down the best.
The hunt never stops.🐅

No crowds. No spotlight. No medals.

Just a room full of athletes choosing discipline over excuses and work over comfort. Every rep, every set, every drop of sweat is an investment in what we want to become.

A big shoutout to these Tigers for making the trip to Live Oak for the USMC Sports Leadership Academy
Wrestling Camp!
Our big man brought home one of the camp awards, and we couldn't be more proud of the way he represented The Dell. More importantly, all of our wrestlers had an awesome experience, learned a ton, and competed alongside some great athletes.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped organize and run the camp. The instruction, leadership, and opportunities provided were outstanding. Our wrestlers loved every minute of it!
