We are so proud of the incredible coaching talent we have here at Slidell Youth Soccer Club! Today, we want to spotlight one of our very own, Coach Will, who is now offering private individual and group soccer lessons for players looking to elevate their game. 📈
Will’s journey in the sport runs deep- starting right here on the SYSC fields as a youth player!
A quick look at Will’s athletic & coaching background:
⚽ Rooted in SYSC: Grew up playing youth soccer at SYSC & graduated from Northshore High School (Class of '11).
🎓 Collegiate & Elite Play: Played college soccer at William Carey University (2016) with 30+ years of overall experience across youth, college, and semi-pro/professional levels.
📋 SYSC Coaching & Leadership: USSF F Licensed, currently coaching our SYSC U-19 team, and founder/coach of the local Bayou Brawlers club.
🇺🇸 National Athlete: Selected for the US Revolution (US National Australian Rules Football Team) and trains as a hybrid/endurance athlete.
💼 Pro Sports Experience: Background in MLS-level sports marketing with Real Salt Lake and Utah Royals FC.
Whether your player needs technical refinement, footwork, tactical awareness, or conditioning, Coach Will brings a wealth of high-level experience to the field!
