Friends, we are having some scheduling changes for the future that I want to be sure you know about!

First, beginning NEXT WEEK, karate will be on Tuesday nights. Beginners will meet from 6 to 645, and advanced (yellow belt and above) will meet from 6:50 to 8 PM. Please note this change of date.

Second, for the month of May, karate will be meeting in the gym at Marietta First Baptist Church. We will be meeting in the fitness room upstairs. At the end of May, we will be back at Slater Hall!

Finally, this week we will only be having one class, from 6 to 645. I look forward to seeing you then!

**class cancellation**: hi everyone, this is Scott's wife Ruth Anne. He has been sick all weekend and has gotten worse each day. We are currently at urgent care. He has tested positive for flu. Due to this sickness he is not going to be able to teach tonight, Monday, April 15th. Please help us spread the word that there will be no class tonight.

Tonight is the night friends! If you are interested in starting out in Karate, are free on Monday nights, and are 6 years old or older, come tonight to our New Beginners Class! You will need to have filled out a liability waiver in order to participate, and we will have some on hand just in case you didn't get to pick one up!

New Class schedule for all Monday classes:

New Beginner's Class - 6:00 PM to 6:45
White/Yellow belt class - 6:45-7:30
Advanced class - 7:30 - 8:20

Don't forget NEXT MONDAY, FEBRUARY 4 is our first night for new students! If you didn't get a chance to attend open house last week, feel free to stop by tonight at 6 and pick up the liability form you will need in order for you or your child to begin karate!

We will be accepting new students through the month of February. If you can't start the 4th, you can jump in the week after, and every week through February.

Thanks to all of you who have so patiently waited for a beginner's class to begin! We FINALLY have a date settled!

We will be having an open house for all incoming karate students to come, watch a live class, fill out paperwork and ask questions on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 6 PM to 7 PM.

After that, we will have our first beginner's class on Monday, February 4 at 6 PM. classes will be once per week on Mondays from 6 to 645. In order to be a part of that class, YOU MUST FILL OUT APPROPRIATE PAPERWORK BEFOREHAND. This paperwork will be distributed during our open house on January 21st.

Thanks for your interest in LWMA! I can't wait to teach you!

Just a reminder that there is NO CLASS tonight, December 31st. We will resume our normal schedule next week!

also, I know that many of you have children that have outgrown their uniforms. If you can send me a private message with the new size that you or your child needs, I will try to get those ordered by today or tomorrow, and they may be here as soon as next Monday. Thanks!

Hey guys! just a reminder that we will not have access to the inside of the buildling today, so we will be doing one class from 6 to 645 that will meet outside behind the small buildling. You can wear plain clothes tonight if you like. Be sure to dress warmly!

Congratulations to all who earned their stripes today, and to those who were promoted to yellow belt! All in all, 10 different promotion tests today, and each student did extremely well!
