Benchmarks are back!

We last did benchmarks in January. We are now 6 months into the year and want to see where you are so you know what to focus on in the second half of 2024. Benchmarks are a time to focus on YOU! Whether it's improving numbers or trying something new, this is your time to put yourself to the test.⁣

We are beginning benchmarks on the 8th! Now, we want to remind members that just because it's been six months, it doesn't mean you will magically have new numbers. Our bodies are meant to have seasons of soaring and moments of plateauing. That's okay. As we head into our next set of benchmarks, we encourage you to honor your body and communicate with your coaches about what you're feeling as we move through them. We are here to help you!⁣

Jul 8 & 11: Squat & plank⁣
Jul 15 & 18: Bench Press⁣
Jul 23 & 26: Endurance⁣
Jul 30 & Feb 2: Stamina⁣
Aug 5 - 9: Make Ups

As we celebrate Independence Day, we want to extend our gratitude to all our incredible members who make B3 Bootcamp a vibrant and inspiring community. Your dedication, energy, and passion for fitness drive us every day!

Take a moment today to enjoy the festivities, spend time with loved ones, and appreciate the freedom we cherish. Remember, balance is key—so go ahead and indulge in those BBQ treats, but don't forget to stay active and hydrated!

We're grateful for the freedom to pursue our health and fitness goals together. Let's continue to push boundaries, break barriers, and support each other on this amazing journey.

Staying hydrated in the summer heat is important to help avoid heat-related illnesses like heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Here are some tips to help you stay hydrated:

🚰 Drink water frequently
Drink 8 ounces of water every 15–20 minutes, or ¾–1 quart per hour. Drinking smaller amounts more often is more effective than drinking large amounts less frequently. You can try drinking a glass of water first thing in the morning, before each meal, or when you're exercising.

💦 Use reminders
Set reminders on your phone or use a fun water bottle as a visual reminder to drink more water.

🚰 Eat water-rich foods
Incorporate fruits and vegetables with high water content into your diet, like oranges, grapefruits, melons, celery, cucumbers, tomatoes, green peppers, and lettuce.

💦 Drink sports beverages
If you're sweating a lot, sports beverages can help replenish electrolytes.

🚰 Check your urine
The color of your urine can indicate how hydrated you are. Pale urine, similar to straw, means you're well hydrated, while darker urine, especially dark yellow or amber, could mean you're mild to severely dehydrated. However, other medications and health conditions can also affect urine color, so you should consult with your doctor if you're concerned.

It is HOT outside and we are bringing back the ice bath this month!! Join us this Saturday, June 22nd for an ice bath!!

Coach Aaryn and Coach Madi will be offering ice baths at B3 Bootcamp this Saturday beginning at 10:15am!! Madi will begin by leading you through a mini meditation and breathwork prior to your plunge.

This event is $5 cash (or Venmo). Ice will be graciously donated by Sharon’s Diner. 🧊

We LOVE this easy chis pudding! Perfect for a yummy breakfast or a mid-day pick-me-up!☕

Ingredients:
3 tb chia seeds
1 Tb Maple Syrup
1 Cup Coffee

Directions:
Mix well and store in the fridge overnight. Next day, Layer with yogurt and dust with cocoa powder. Enjoy!
