We came, we sawed 🪚, we conquered (invasive species). Had a blast volunteering at the Forest Preserves as part of the . We love the North Branch Trail, so this was an awesome opportunity to give back. Best believe with DROP’D some trees today. Do 👏 you 👏 love 👏 the 👏 forest 👏 preserves??? What about beer? I mean, come on. What a combo. Our fall social ride will give you the best of both worlds. Ride bikes in the woods, then drink beer in the woods, AND support all in one day. RSVP is required at the link in our bio. While you’re there, you can purchase a ticket to the event if you wanna hang with us after the ride. 🍻 p.s. this isn’t all about beer. There’s all kinds of fun activities like bird walks🦉, yoga 🧘‍♀️ , animal encounters 🐍, art making 🎨, AND MORE 🍂! Plus, you can get a non-drinker ticket if beer isn’t your jam. Come hang!!!

Usually you’ll find us pounding coffee and pastries at , but we finally got off their comfy couches and put our big strong biker legs to good use by volunteering at Family Fest. We jumped into the fridge and freezer trucks like pros and provided service with a smile. We love helping in the community, especially for causes close to our little hearts.

As a team, we’re heartbroken and angry at the decision today by the UCI to ban trans athletes from women’s categories. Rather than stand in solidarity with trans riders, they’ve chosen to amplify hateful voices. This isn’t leadership, this isn’t governance; this is hatred and cowardice.

As USAC statements today imply USAC will be following the new UCI policy, we will no longer participate in USAC sanctioned events moving forward and are canceling our individual and team licenses. We are strongly encouraging other teams to do the same.

We’re additionally asking local race directors to explore ways to hold their events without the sanction of USAC, and commit they will now, and in the future, not only allow, but welcome and encourage trans athletes to compete in all categories.

To the trans folks in our community, we want you here, we want to ride with you, and we want to race with you.

Mountain bikes! We don’t know much about ‘em but we’ll try just about anything. Let’s be real…lack of knowledge and skill has never stopped us. Come hang at ! Maybe we’ll race. Maybe we’ll roll around in the grass. Maybe we’ll be severely dehydrated. Maybe we’ll see a real live frog. The possibilities are endless.

Us are back at 'em with our first open social ride of the year!!

Have you ever thought, "Wow, those dropettes are really cool. They had to have been popular in high school. I know they hang out with more than 3 people, and they don't have social anxiety at all. They definitely answer every phone call with confidence. Riding bikes with them must be extremely fun and not weird and awkward at all."???

The first podium in Dropettes history has been claimed!!! Maria Contino is a Big Marsh Short Track Series 2021 champion, and we are SO PROUD. Maria just built up this sweet MTB and rode it to glory after racking up SEVENTY FIVE MILES the day of the race. Is it the incredible endurance? Is it the mechanical skillz? Is it the performance button-up? Whatever it is, Maria is doing it right and crushing it. 🤠
