A huge thank you to the Texas Workforce Commission for awarding Skidmore-Tynan ISD the Jobs & Education for Texas Grant! This incredible opportunity will allow us to create a state-of-the-art Health Science wing where our high school students can prepare for careers in nursing, phlebotomy, and EKG programs. We are excited to continue investing in the future of our students and community. It’s a great day to be a BOBCAT! 🐾

Brennan Keese, class salutatorian, is the 2026 recipient of the Joe and Ruth Lindsay Scholarship. Brennan will attend Texas A&M University at College Station to study mechanical engineering. He is a member of the National Honor Society, was elected to the Student Council, graduated from Del Mar College, in Corpus Christi, with a certificate in Welding, and has spent the last five years learning metal art at a forge in Goliad.
