The Skiatook Roundup Club was organized in 1948 and became incorporated on March 29, 1971. Little does anyone know that Skiatook RUC got its start at a little arena to the south of where it stands today off of Highway 11 where “Hunt Trailer Park” is today. In the mid-1960’s the Skiatook Roundup Club moved to where it is located today with the help of a man name A.T. Ferree built the arena for the

club, and later donated the land and arena to the club to insure that Rodeo would live on in Skiatook, OK. The Club puts on numerous event throughout the year which consist of two open rodeos, twelve playdays and twenty-four barrel races. The officers for the 2022 season are President DJ Richardson, Vice President Brittany Earl, Secretary Linda Shepherd, Treasurer Debbie Stumpf, Arena Director Alan Stumpf, and Playday Director Kelsi Teel. Board Members include Charlotta Huddleston, Michelle Avalos, Justin Teel, Angela Henson, Johnna Kelley, Matt Earl and Dawn Brown. We invite the community to join us at all our events!

SRUC Royalty is at it again! 👑

SRUC Queen Hadley and Teen Liberty were honored to participate in the annual Ben Johnson Days celebration last night by carrying flags during the ranch rodeo.

If you don’t have plans today, come out and enjoy all the vendors, community activities, and the ranch rodeo tonight! There’s something for everyone to enjoy.

And don’t forget—on Father’s Day, the tradition continues with the 72nd Annual Ben Johnson Memorial Steer Roping.

We hope to see you there as we celebrate this great event and community tradition!

Skiatook RUC Teen Queen Liberty Latty had a great time representing our club at the MRO Pageant this past week! Visiting royalty had a jam-packed schedule of appearances to make, but Liberty still found time to demonstrate what it truly means to be a rodeo queen.

Liberty helped Skiatook Young Riders Princess Aubrey and former SRUC Sweetheart Grayson Earl get ready by fixing her wings, helping her saddle her horse, and offering words of encouragement as she competed for the MRO Princess title. With little time between events, Liberty stepped in without hesitation to lend a helping hand.

We are proud to have Liberty representing our club. She exemplifies what it means to be a rodeo queen by always being willing to help others, serving as a positive role model, and displaying kindness, sportsmanship, and leadership wherever she goes. Congratulations, Liberty, and thank you for representing Skiatook RUC with grace and excellence!

We’ve kicked off things here in Oklahoma at the 2027 Miss Rodeo Oklahoma pageant! Thank you to the Oklahoma Rodeo Pageants Council Inc. for welcoming me with open arms. I’m looking forward to a great week here in the Prairie Circuit! 🤍
