Huge thank you to the coaches, players, and volunteers of the Skiatook Girls Basketball program for putting on such a successful camp this week. The turnout was extremely impressive, and it was awesome seeing so many young athletes learning the game from our coaches and high school players.
These young girls truly look up to the high school players and coaches as local role models, and getting the opportunity to work alongside them, learn from them, and be part of the future development of Skiatook basketball is something special.
The time, effort, and energy that was invested into these kids does not go unnoticed. The future of Skiatook Girls Basketball is bright because of programs and people willing to pour into the next generation. Great job by everyone involved!

Congratulations to Garrett Johansen, who graduates from Skiatook High School tonight.

Garrett has been a huge part of our basketball community, especially with the 5th Grade boys team, where he worked alongside his mom to help develop the boys into better teammates while continuing to grow their love for the game of basketball.

His willingness to invest his time, energy, and positivity into the next generation says a lot about his character. The impact made through encouragement, leadership, and helping kids enjoy the game is something that goes far beyond wins and losses.

We appreciate everything Garrett has done for the players, families, and our organization. Congratulations on this accomplishment, and we wish you nothing but success in your future. Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog.

Tonight, we congratulate Barrett Henton as he graduates from Skiatook High School.

Barrett has been a huge part of what makes the Skiatook Basketball Club successful. No matter what needed to be done, he was always willing to step in and help. From prepping courts, running the scoreboard, cleaning the stands, taking out trash, helping with concessions, or working the gate, Barrett has done it all to help ensure our game days ran smoothly and efficiently.

People see the games, but they don’t always see the hard work behind the scenes that makes everything possible. Barrett has been one of those dependable people that our organization could always count on. His work ethic, attitude, and willingness to serve others are truly one of a kind.

We are extremely thankful for everything he has done for this club, our players, coaches, and families. Congratulations, Barrett! We are proud of you and cannot wait to see what the future holds for you. Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the amazing moms of the Skiatook Basketball Club!

Thank you for every early morning, late night, practice ride, tournament weekend, snack run, load of laundry, word of encouragement, and sacrifice you make for these kids. Your support, love, and dedication help shape not only successful and competitive athletes, but great young people.

Behind every player is a mom making countless things happen that often go unseen. Simply put — we could not do any of this without you.

Thank you for everything you do for our players, coaches, and basketball community. We hope you all have a wonderful and well-deserved Mother’s Day!

🏆 6th Grade Boys – Champions! 🏆

Today this group of young men finished their final season in the league the best way possible — as Champions.

What makes this team special isn’t just the trophy. It’s the journey they took to earn it. This season had its rough patches. There were tough games, moments of adversity, and challenges that could have easily broken a group apart. Instead, it brought them closer together. Their togetherness, belief in each other, and willingness to fight through the hard moments is what defined this team.

Every time they faced adversity, they responded the right way — with effort, toughness, and a competitive spirit that never backed down.

A lot of credit goes to the coaches who poured into these players and helped shape them not only as basketball players, but as teammates and competitors. The way this group plays the game and supports one another is a direct reflection of the leadership they’ve had.

This may be their last year in this league, but it’s clear that big things are ahead for this group. With their competitiveness, work ethic, and the lessons they’ve learned together, they are going to continue to find success as they move up.

Proud of this team. Proud of the journey. Proud of the way they represented themselves and their program.

Champions. 🏀
