The baseball community is a family, and right now that family is rallying around 12-year-old Xavier Taylor of New Jersey.
Xavier remains in critical condition after a tragic accident during pregame warmups, and baseball organizations, teams, and families across the country have come together to show their support through the “Bats Out for X” movement.
We are asking all Lakeshore Baseball & Softball families to join us by placing a baseball or softball bat outside your front door, on your porch, or by your mailbox as a visible sign of support for Xavier, his family, teammates, coaches, and community.
In a game that teaches us teamwork, resilience, and showing up for one another, this is an opportunity to do exactly that.
Please keep Xavier and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
