This off season Captain Deedee coached wrestling again in Sitka for her 3rd season as head coach at Mt. Edgecumbe High School (4th with the team overall).

Thank you to our fishing clients who donated a little extra funds to the team last year. In Alaska we have to travel via airplane to tournaments, sleep on classroom floors, and be away from home 4 days a week throughout the season. It's a full time job! Your donations helped feed these kids bagels and bananas on trip (estimated 400+ bagels and 200+ bananas) among other foods throughout the season.

Due to budget cuts across the state, we wrestled at 1/2 the tournaments we did last year when we won a state title. As you can imagine, it's expensive to fly to fly across the state. A lot of our clients are related to the airline so I wanted to put it out there: if anyone knows how to transfer airline miles, we'd love to stack up an account of miles for future travel.

Also, was totally surprised and shocked to earn Girls Coach of the Year by the National Wrestling Coaches Division!

Thanks again for your support! Time to start thinking about fish again!
