Sitka Studio of Dance We teach dancers ages 18 months and up, beginner through advanced in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and more! Summer programs available.

Contact Melinda at [email protected] for more information and a schedule. We generally run the school year with a performance in May, but we accept new students year round. Older dancers can participate in The Aurora Ensemble, Fireweed Dance Theatre (junior and senior company), and The Nutcracker.

I'd like to extend a hearty thank you and a wish for a happy birthday to Marco Moctezuma - Hernandez. Marco owns Housekeeping Solutions and has been working at the studio ever since we moved in 2003. He is great to work with - and visit with. Dancers enjoy a clean, fresh studio each week thanks to Marco and his team. Marco has helped me out of quite a few jams over the years. I'd like to wish Marco a very happy birthday. I hope it's a great year!

Sitka Studio of Dance presents its annual dance recitals on Saturday, May 9, at the PAC. The 2pm recital is younger kids (contact Sitka Studio of Dance if you are unsure which recital your dancer is in). The 7pm recital is bigger kids and adults.

Tickets are available online at fineartsccamp.org and at the door. One ticket gets you into both recitals. Current dance students may watch for free.
