Our sweet and sassy Mare Arrow passed away peacefully on her own this last week. Those who knew her immediately noticed how affectionate she was especially compared to her gelding heard mates lol! She was 30 but certainly didn’t act that way when it came to being let out of the barn in the morning! She lived a great life with her best friend Timber most of her life 💕 We are very thankful we got to spend these last 5 years with her here are Silver Bay Stables!

🐴 Kids Horse Meet & Greets at Silver Bay Stables - July! 🐴

Looking for a fun and educational activity for your kids this July? Silver Bay Stables is hosting special "Kids Meet & Greet with the Horses" sessions designed for children ages 4-8!

During this 20-minute experience, kids will:

* Visit and interact with our gentle horses.
* Have the opportunity to pet and brush them.
* Learn about what it's like for horses living in Alaska.

🗓️ When: Most Wednesday mornings in July, and occasionally other days. See our website for the full schedule.
💰 Cost: $25 for one child, $30 for two. (Contact us for groups larger than two).
📍 Where: Silver Bay Stables

⚠️ Please note that riding is not included.

Yay for the sun! Everyone was in on the sun naps when I came out for my lessons!

We have some a availability starting next week for some youth riding lessons! Ages 8-18. This will be for June and July with the possibility of it going longer if you are interested in continuing. All lessons do start with some ground safety sessions. Please email [email protected] if you are interested! Spaces are limited.

Happier with Horses
Let us share the joyful experience of horses with you! Group session will be on the ground and no riding.

• $40/mo – One full-hour session
• $75/mo – Two full-hour sessions
• Private sessions also available

16+ years old and Women only. We do still have some availablily for riding lessons if want to ride. You must schedule your spot by calling or texting 907-738-8272
*A one hour safety lesson ($40) is required before participation in this group activity.
