⚔️ Welcome to the 2026 TCMS Knights Softball Season! ⚔️

Today we officially welcome our Tyler Consolidated Middle School Knights to the field. Each player who earned a spot on this team represents what our program stands for — hard work, effort, positive attitudes, and being great teammates.

Being a Knight means more than just playing softball. It means showing up ready to compete, supporting each other, and doing whatever the team needs — whether that’s making a big play, encouraging a teammate, or stepping into a position to help the team succeed.

We’re excited to get to work this season and continue building a program that represents TCMS, our school, and our community with pride.

Parents, families, and fans — we appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you at the field this spring.

Information for TCMS girls trying out for softball for the 2026 season.

Please note physicals and proof of insurance forms are due at the first practice March 2nd. If your child has already played a school sport this school year that physical is on file.

Prepare for any and all weather conditions. Bring all gear and water. Cleats are not needed yet but can be worn when we’re outside (no metal cleats on the turf).

Our 2025 TCMS Knights Softball team is having a great experience at Ohio University today.

The girls have had the chance to meet and have a Q&A session with OU Softball Head Coach Jenna Hall, assistant/former Athletes Unlimited professional player Lilli Piper and former OU pitcher and assistant coach Madi McCrady!!

They toured the basketball/volleyball arena, locker room area and weight room, Peden Football Stadium including their weight room, indoor practice facilities and the baseball/softball hit center!

After lunch they were able to attend a presentation on Ohio University, then we took a fantastic tour of the beautiful Ohio University Campus! Several of the girls commented “I want to go here!!” They are having a blast!

We will conclude the day watching Ohio University play number 24 ranked Ohio State University!

Great reward for a hard years work for this team!

We appreciate everyone involved in making this happen from TCMS and Ohio University! It has been an amazing experience!

🥎🥎Great win tonight for the Knights!!! Down 4-0 after 5 they scored 1 in the 6th and 5th in the 7th, including 3 when they were down to their last out. Then they went out and made some great plays on defense to finished strong securing the 6-4 win over a solid New Martinsville team!!🥎🥎

Enjoy it tonight girls then we’re back on the diamond tomorrow hosting the Cee-Bees in a double header starting at 5.
