It’s been a few weeks since the Northern Door Thanksgiving Turkey Trot & Dog jog, but I’m nonetheless thankful for all of you who showed up on this very cold morning! We had such an energetic crowd. This event has become a family tradition for many and that just makes me so happy.

Every year this event raises money for a local charity. But we did something a bit different this year and raised money for Chris Hecht and his family as they continue to navigate through the healing and rebuilding after Chris’s tragic health crises this spring.

I’m happy to say that the event raised over $2,000 for the cause! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Keep an eye out next year for event details! (We’ll be back to selling Turkey Trot shirts in 2026).

Raising money for Chief Chris Hecht. The community is coming together to support Chris in his recovery and rehab after a life threatening health incident in April. He had a long road of recovery ahead of him and we are 100% behind him! The event is FREE as usual but accepting donations.

It’s been a little over a week since our 6th annual Northern Door Turkey Trot & Dog Jog! We had a wonderful in-person turnout and had virtual participation from multiple states too!

I am extremely thankful for all who participated and/or donated to our chosen charity, Sue Baldwin Fund. I’m happy to announce that we raised over $5,000!!! You all were very generous. 🥰 AGAIN, THANK YOU!

I don’t always do a great job capturing pictures of the event, as I am a one woman show, but here are some for your enjoyment!

I am so excited to bring our community together ONCE AGAIN on Thanksgiving morning for a family friendly fun run/jog/walk! 1 mile or 3 mile routes available. 2024 is our 6th annual gathering and it has become a family tradition for many!

We are happy that our event has been supported even outside of Door County! Last year we had supporters from all over. So even if you won't be here, but love Door County, please participate wherever you are and tag Door County Fitness!

Nice work athletes! Super proud of this group…Building consistency and taking action!

Cheers to my open gym squad! 🎉 Most of these ladies have been with me from the start, and wow, are they setting the bar high! Consistency is key, and they’ve got it locked down. Each session is full of laughs, grit, and some seriously impressive gains. Proud of you all for sticking with it and can’t wait to see how much further you’ll go. Thanks for making every workout a blast and for always being ready for whatever crazy challenge I throw your way. Here’s to more fun, fitness, and flexing those success stories!
