⛰️ Sipapu Summer Slam is almost here! 🥏

A few quick updates as tournament weekend gets closer!

🔥 The new DGA Mach X baskets are going in tomorrow! We can’t wait for everyone to experience the upgraded course.

🏨 Lodging Update: Sipapu is hosting a wedding the same weekend as the tournament, so on-site lodging is limited. We apologize for the inconvenience. There are a few nearby campgrounds, and Taos is only about 20–25 minutes away with plenty of lodging options.

🏹 Course Closure: The course will be closed next weekend for an archery tournament, so please plan your practice rounds accordingly.

If you haven’t registered yet, now’s the time! We’re looking forward to an awesome weekend of mountain golf, great competition, and breaking in the brand-new baskets with all of you!

Summer Slam 2026 Present by DGA is on!!!

We want to start by apologizing for the late Summer Slam announcement. We also wanted to let everyone know that we’ve made a slight adjustment to the schedule this year, with the tournament now taking place July 25th–26th.

We’ve been holding off as long as possible because we were hoping to confirm that the new baskets would arrive in time for the tournament and wanted to plan some fun events around their debut. The good news is that it’s looking very likely they’ll be here in time, but we can’t guarantee it just yet. Rather than keep everyone waiting any longer, we felt it was time to get registration information out.

Because of that, we’ll likely be postponing the basket auction until State Doubles, giving us the opportunity to do it right and celebrate the transition properly.

No matter what happens with the baskets, Summer Slam is on and it’s going to be a blast! As usual you can look forward to:

🔥 $500 Skins Match
🥏 3 awesome rounds at Sipapu
⛳ Mini Golf

🗓️ Registration opens Monday at 6:00 PM!

Thanks for being patient with us while we tried to get everything lined up. We’ll keep everyone posted as soon as we have final confirmation on the baskets, but whether we’re breaking in the new Mach Xs or giving the current baskets one last run, we’re looking forward to another great Summer Slam and can’t wait to see everyone up on the mountain.

Sipapu Summer Slam is a Disc golf tournament in Vadito, New Mexico beginning July 25, 2026 and hosted by Elite Brothers Disc Golf.
